Florence, Arizona; May 23, 2018 — Milandr, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed a Letter of Intent dated May 23, 2018 with the Town of Florence, Arizona. Pursuant to the terms of the Letter of Intent, Milandr, Inc., in partnership with Innovation Pavilion of Centennial, Colorado, will develop a low power, wide area network (LPWAN) for the town of Florence, Arizona. The proposed network would enable Florence, Arizona, to implement various state-of-the-art smart city technologies. Smart Lights, Trash bin detectors, leak sensors, tank level monitors, and smart electric meters are among the devices proposed. These and other technologies will help solidify Florence’s position as an innovative leader in local government service. In addition to supplying IoT devices, Milandr will develop a robust Network Management Software, built with the needs and goals of Florence in mind. Milandr, Inc. is a private technology company based in Denver, Colorado, designing and deploying Smart City systems nationwide, as well as distributing smart energy consumption meters of its own design.

With this membership we can utilize knowledge and experience share to guarantee the interoperability of our Milur™ Smart Meters between operators in one open global standard.

The LoRa Alliance is an open, non-profit association of members that believes the internet of things era is now. It was initiated by industry leaders with a mission to standardize Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) being deployed around the world to enable Internet of Things (IoT), machine-to-machine (M2M), smart city, and industrial applications.
